Dyamond is the home world of Princess Icy, Princess Sapphire and their mother, the Queen of Dyamond. It was once a vibrant place, very green, full of crystals and life. That is until an evil witch overthrew its Queen and became their new ruler, making it a very cold place, covered with ice and snow.
Overview[]
Dyamond currently is a desolate planet of ice and snow, cursed by the Shaman Witch after conquering it. It was originally a monarchy. After the Trix cornered the Wishing Star, the star split into seven Prime Stars, a Star Compass and a Star Case. The Prime Star of sisterly love ended up on Dyamond, discovered by Sapphire, who would eventually retrieve it with the bond she had for her sister Icy.
Society[]
Originally, like most planets in the Magic Dimension, Dyamond was a monarchy. It is shown the kingdom had a queen, and that queen had two daughters, Icy and Sapphire. At one point in Icy's youth, an evil Shaman Witch invaded Dyamond and conquered the planet, dethroning the sovereign and freezing it.
Fauna[]
Although not much is known about the fauna of Dyamond, it is known that the planet was a habitat for orange foxes and currently not a habitat for any animals except Icy's sister Sapphire, in the form of a white fox.
Flora[]
Not much vegetation is seen. This is because of the shaman witch who conquered the kingdom during Icy's childhood. Before the shaman witch arrived on Dyamond, there are trees with large pink crystal around their roots and on their bodies. Flowers of the trees are pink and have two layers, each layer has five petals with its petals made of ice or crystal. In the center of the flower is a pistil of the same color. Sometimes, the inner layer of the flowers is purple instead of pink. However, purple flowers are also visible to seen as in Icy's flashback. The planet is also lush with other greenery, such as grass, bushes and trees. Rock and crystal formation are aplenty.
Pre-series[]
The kingdom was once ruled by a royal family, including Icy and Sapphire. However, one day the realm was attacked by an evil Shaman witch, who conquered the people and encased the world in snow and ice. Icy became determined after this to become the strongest witch in the Magic Dimension in order to save her home and family.
Series[]
Season 8[]
In "Dyamond on Ice", this planet is the location of the seventh prime star. The Winx travel there in search of the star. The Trix do so as well, though with much reluctance from Icy, who initially refused to return because of her promise to her sister. Sapphire sees the Winx, and tries to shake them off her trail when the pursue her. She does so successfully, though continues to spy on them. The Trix notice her doing so and attempts to attack her, though Icy tries to prevent this. Sky saves the fox from the consequently falling debri, infuriating Icy, who proceeds to furiously attck in his direction, sinking him into a frozen lake.
In "The White Fox", she carries her sister and explains her backstory to her friends, who then are determined to find the star more than ever. Sapphire leads them to Icy's old castle, which has the star on one of its spires. They try to claim it, though it flies into a small tunnel oly Sapphire the fox can fit through. The Winx dive in to save Sky, and proceed to find the star. The Winx encounter the Trix who then furiously attack. The battle causes the castle area to collapse, and Icy saves her sister from danger in the nick of time, completly disregarding the star. This earns her the last star, which she goes to a reclusive area to use to try and free her sister. This ultimately fails, though it frees the Trix of the Mark of Valtor, which enables them to challenge Valtor to earn his three stars.

- Its name is a variant spelling of the word "diamond".
- Dyamond is similar to Domino in some aspects.
- Both were frozen by evil witches.
- Both have two princesses (Bloom and Daphne for Domino and Icy and Sapphire for Dyamond).
- One of these two princesses were cursed by the witches that attacked both planets (Daphne was turned into a bodyless spirit by the Ancestral Witches, and Sapphire was turned into a white fox by the Evil Witch that attacked Dyamond).
