Aviary Tower

The Aviary Tower is a room in the Solarian Royal Palace. It is the home of King Radius's beloved doves.

Overview

This tower has cages for King Radius's doves though they had always flown free. It is a large space with hanging cages, plants, as well as large windows. It is one of the King's precious rooms.

The space before the main aviary room at the very top is very spacious and only decorative walls and railings are present. It is uncertain how residents and visitors enter the room but the Solarian Royal Guards activated a magic moving platform through a device. This platform moves very quickly.

Season 3

Stella falling from the aviary window!

When Stella had been turned into a monster by Lady Chimera, she and her friends had to escape from her own home as her father (under Countess Cassandra's control) ordered the guards to capture her. The guards chased Stella and her friends through the halls of the royal palace. The girls are directed to the Aviary Tower by Stella. They fly towards the very top where the doves would stay with the guards tailing them. When they were cornered and the guards opened fire, Stella fell through a large window. Tecna puts up a shield to dispel the guards' magic projectiles whilst Flora casts a protection spell onto Bloom as she dives through the window to catch Stella before she hits the ground.

Although Bloom was able to grab hold of Stella, the protection spell wares off due the dark rain caused by Valtor stealing the magic of Solaria's second sun; Stella slips through Bloom's hands. Bloom quickly calls out to her friends for help and all were able to form a circle around Stella, resulting in a safe landing. Brandon and Sky rejoin the girls with the former asking what happened pointing to the now damaged aviary.

The tower is not seen again until the final preparations for King Radius and Countess Cassandra's wedding. King Radius visits his aviary only to see his beloved doves locked away. He is sadden that his birds were caged and voiced his concerns to the Countess who explains that this is part of his compromise for their wedding. Because Countess Cassandra also "made compromises" for the wedding as well.

Trivia

• The door that leads into the main aviary is positioned differently between the two times it was shown though the exterior design remains the same.
  • When Musa opened it with her sonic powers, it was attached to the wall and when the Winx stepped inside, the back of the door was glass.
  • When King Radius opened the door, it was situated inside the aviary and was a round entry way that lead into the spacious aviary.
  • It is unknown if this was an oversight or during the tower's repair, they had decided to change the door's position.
