The Council of Sovereigns was a political summit and war council made up of government officials from all the realms^[1]^[2]. They were assembled during Tritannus' ongoing dimensional threat.

Overview[]

When it became apparent that Tritannus' goals were becoming dangerous and a threat to the entire Magic Dimension and so, the leaders of Domino, Andros, Solaria, and Eraklyon decided to convene at Domino's Royal Palace to discuss matters in-person. Leaders of Linphea, Melody, and Zenith joined the summit as well.

Upon Tritannus' life sentence to Oblivion, it can be assumed the council has been abolished.

Winx Club - Episode 516 (9) — Disagreements one after another.

During a telecommunicating conference with the kings of Andros, Solaria, Domino and Eraklyon, and Alfea's headmistress, disagreements plagued them. Discussing this in-person would be easier to find a solution to end Tritannus' threat and so, King Oritel offers his castle as the meeting place for a political summit. All the sovereigns from all realms are invited to attend.

When the summit begins, it is clear that there are strong opposing sides. About half of the realms refuse to combine forces to stop Tritannus, believing that they are strong enough to withstand him on their own. With Eraklyon being the strongest in resisting. King Erendor and Prince Sky of Eraklyon were on opposite sides, the former believed their kingdom could withstand Tritannus on its own but the latter did not. This debate returns with them back on Eraklyon and Sky debates with his father and mother.

Winx Club - Episode 518 (8) — More disagreements.

King Radius of Solaria also believed his kingdom was powerful enough on its own but when Princess Stella reasoned with him, using her experiences with Tritannus he realized that she is right. He told King Oritel and Queen Marion that they needed to discuss more. Unfortunately, seeing how the kingdoms cannot come to an agreement, he refuses.

King Cryos of Zenith pondered on his decision but eventually declared Zenith would not be joining. Tecna was able to convince him that joining the alliance was necessary. This point was proven when she and her group succeed where their technology failed in protecting them against Tritannus' influence on their droids.

520-Audience — Sky tries to reason with his parents (mainly his father).

Finally, after much opposition and debate, the kingdoms join the alliance and their first mission is to save the polluted Paradise Bay. A decision Princess Diaspro, at the time liasion to King Erendor, greatly opposed as she saw it to be far too dangerous for Prince Sky to be concerned over a "polluted puddle on Earth." The prince did not take to this statement kindly and snatched his arm away when she tried to pull him out the (his) decision. Her reaction and inability to see the importance of this alliance was not well received and King Erendor realizes she is unfit for her position, calling it a "disgrace" and relieves her of duty. Furious at her position being compromised (mainly losing all reason to be near Sky), she directs her fury to Princess Bloom whose only response was to gasp. As she stomps towards the exit she falls into the pool distracted by her anger. Causing everyone to laugh at her, she leaves with a scowl on her face humiliated.

Winx Club - Episode 522 (1) — King Cryos will not join the alliance.

With that the alliance heads towards Paradise Bay and the battle wages on against Tritannus' mutants. They are overpowered but Luna summons Solaria's Second Sun to give them strength. Seeing this, Tritannus and Icy flee to an ocean gate. Roy and the Winx intercept them but Roy is injured and Aisha checks up on him; she starts showing some attraction towards him. But Icy and Tritannus escape though that is not the most important part. Although the alliance had kept Paradise Bay from accruing more damage it was still significantly damaged. Flora was able to heal it by combing her special Sirenix power with the Breath of the Ocean.

524-Planning — An alliance has formed and now, it is time to make plans to defeat Tritannus.

From there, the battle against Tritannus moves onto the Pillar of Light again. This time Crown Prince Nereus and Princess Tressa of the Underwater Kingdom Andros request the Winx's assistance. Tritannus, his mutants, and Icy outnumber their opponents. So, Flora presents the Breath of the Ocean to Princess Tressa who uses it to call all the selkies. Another battle ensues. The result of this battle: Tritannus fatally wounded his brother (he is saved by Princess Aisha's Sirenix Wish), Aisha is captured and stripped of her Sirenix powers.

Erendor renounces Diaspro's position — Princess Diaspro is relieved of duty.

The situation on Andros becomes dire. The oceans are flooding the planet's surface and continues to rise. King Teredor and Queen Niobe are pushed higher up their palace and are attacked by Tritannus' mutants but are saved by the Winx. The Winx had split up to deal with different circumstances. Bloom and Nereus are at the Infinite Ocean fighting a power-up unrestrained Tritannus. Flora, Stella, Musa, Tecna, and Aisha help Princess Tressa, Roy, all the mermaids and tritons fend off the mutants who were trying to get into the palace and to the sovereigns.

The battle in the Infinite Ocean was a difficult one as Tritannus' power-up from Aisha's Sirenix powers and the Emperor's Throne combined made him go mad. Bloom eventually defeated him by destroying his trident which contain all of his powers and returned him to his triton form.

Tritannus' threat is put to an end. The former prince now criminal is incarcerated and sentence to life in Oblivion. Princess Bloom, for her actions that caused Tritannus' defeat earned her, her Sirenix Wish. She wished for the Sirenix curse to be lifted and thus, returned Daphne to her corporeal state. The princess happily reunites with her older sister after so long.

A celebration is held at Andros' surface palace of which the council members attend. As the threat is no more, it can be assumed that the council has since been abolished.

Trivia[]

Although this summit was suppose to involve all of the Magic Dimension's realms and planets, only seven of the main characters' planets were present. There was also no representative from Earth despite it being the most effected by Tritannus as it was the main resource of his pollution powers.
Squire Brandon, who is a close companion and direct protector of Prince Sky, was not involved. Neither was Queen Samara of Eraklyon.
