Ederaviola[1] is a witch who attends Cloud Tower.
Appearance[]
Ederaviola's hair is brown and long, her bangs are of a slightly lighter color and separated into two parts. She has dark eyes, freckles, a light tan complexion, and orange lips. Ederaviola wears a sleeveless navy top, a long skirt, and shoes of the same color.
In season 8, her hair is wavy rather than straight, and now she has a lighter complexion.
Personality[]
She is pleasant and calm. When the Trix took over Cloud Tower in season 1 and made their announcement Ederaviola has a worried expression on her face. She also may care for animals as Valtor disguised as a fawn Ederaviola went to comfort him.
Series[]
Season 1[]
In "Betrayed!", Ederaviola makes her debut half way though the episode. She is looking over Darcy and Riven, intrigued by their date.
In"The Fall of Magix", She is present with the other Cloud Tower witches, when the Trix announce their plan to summon the Army of Darkness.
In "Power Play", She is seen escaping Cloud Tower to avoid the Army of Darkness, as she goes though the portal to Alfea with the rest of the witches.
Season 3[]
In "Alfea Under Siege," she goes out to greet Valtor, disguised as a faun. Valtor reveals himself and he casts a mind-control spell on her. Later, under Valtor’s control, she attacks Alfea as she and her classmates descend from the sky. She is hit by an attack but eventually returns to Cloud Tower.
In "A Trap for Fairies," the Winx and Mirta find her lying in a bed in Cloud Tower in suspended animation. Mind-controlled, she rises to attack the Winx. She is eventually defeated.
In "Fury!," she is seen in Cloud Tower's dining hall.
Season 8[]
Magical Abilities[]
Like all witches, her powers are derived from the negative aspects of magic. Ederaviola may know some basic, first-level spells that all witches can use, such as telekinesis, transmuting objects, and fixing minor messes. Like all witches, she can fly. She is able to shoot lightning out of her hands as shown in "Alfea Under Siege".

- Her name is Italian for "purple ivy" (viola a spelling variant of purple and edera meaning ivy).
