The Mimosa Vainatosa are plants introduced in Season 1.

Overview

The Mimosa Vainatosa feed off of reflective light. They are also very vain.

Appearance

The Mimosa Vainitosa is a tulip-like plant with extending vines.

Season 1

In "The Monster and the Willow," Stella and Flora are arguing about Flora's plants and equipment taking over the dorm. One plant in particular, the Mimosa, has been spread all over Stella's room. One is sitting in front of the mirror trying on clothes and makeup, much to Stella's dismay. She remarks that they have no sense of fashion.

Trivia

• Their name is derived from the words:
  • "mimosa," a type of cocktail
  • "vain," meaning "having or showing an excessively high opinion of one's appearance, abilities, or worth".
• In the 4Kids segment "Flowers with Flora" they are named "Vanity Flytraps".
