The Technomagic Core of Zenith is an anicent place seen in season seven. It is located within Zenith.

Overview[]

Located underground, the core is surround by earth. Large gears and pulleys, and pipes line the walls and towards the back of the area is large glowing, transparent orb. Techsquirrels flying inside and around a cluster of energy. The techsquirrels control the orb by flying, which creates kinetic energy.[1] At the bottom of the orb are vine-line circuits that are embedded into the earthen walls. This system is what enables Zenith's technology to function. Should this be disrupted, all of Zenith will malfunction.

According to Brafilius, this place is the origin of technomagic.[1]

Season 7[]

Ep712-1

The core is destabilizing.

As Kalshara and Brafilius continue their search for the Ultimate Power of the Fairy Animals, the core was their next target. Because Kalshara believed that going into the past where no fairy animals existed would be the best way to find what that power, Brafilius is forced to go back in time to here.

When he sees the core with five flying techsquirrels, he pulls Flitter out to analyze him to see if he contained the power they were seeking. The results are negative and a frustrated Brafilius takes out his anger on Flitter. Luckily, he escapes and tries to intimidate Brafilius. The wizard is unfazed and brags about his ticket home, Roxy's stone of memories. Flitter "steals" it from him, chews on it but throws it away, seeing no use in it. The stone enters a pipe and Brafilius tries and fails to get it out, only hurting himself in the process.

TechCoreZenith-712-2

Tecna inside the core, about to contain the unstable energy.

Flitter's attention turns to the core as it begins to become unstable thanks to Brafilius's antics. Due to the chaos caused by the destabilization, the gears and pulleys, and pipes starting breaking apart. At one point, Brafilius is trapped in one of the pipes. Flitter himself, desperately tries to reenter the orb but the hard shell prevents him.

Ep712-2

The core is re-stabilized!

The Winx travel back in time to here when their stones of memories begin shining, indicating that Roxy's stone had been activated. Bloom notices the orb with the techsquirrels. Tecna explains to her friends what they are and how they are controlling the ancient orb. She notices something is wrong and sees Flitter outside. Flitter is then struck by an intense strike but is caught by Tecna. She inquires him about the situation, and he shows her Brafilius, trapped in a pipe. He is uncooperative as usual but the girls have to focus their attention on the core as it is nearing optimal instability. The girls transform but most of them are preoccupied with the falling mechanisms. When Musa asks Tecna how the core van be fixed, Tecna explains that she needs to make the core again and that requires help. But the other Winx are more concerned about ensuring that they all do not get crushed.

Flitter offers his help and Tecna uses her special Butterflix spell, Virtual Flow to enter the core to contain the unstable energy. Flitter and the rest of the techsquirrels can now re-create energy to stabilize it. With the core back in balance, the mechanisms float back into place and Zenith returns to normal. The pipe that had Roxy's stolen stone of memories also begin to work again and shots it back out, coincidentally back into Brafilius's hands. He escapes much to the anger of Aisha who noticed but failed to capture him.

Tecna exits the core and gets an update that everything is back to normal. Nature made some changes to the core and only four techsquirrels are needed to maintain the core. Tecna and Flitter then bond.
