Saladin's Staff is Saladin's main weapon. The staff is often with Saladin.

Overview[]

It is uncertain when Saladin acquired his staff, rather it was a family heirloom, gift, or reward, its origin and its early history is unknown. However, Saladin has used his staff in youth seen in flashbacks of his time in the Company of Light.

The staff is almost always used as a catalyst to cast spells or serve as a walking cane. There are times where Saladin is only holding his staff while he is casting a spell from his hand.

Appearance[]

It is a long golden rod with its top shaped like the head of a dragon holding a purple gem in its mouth.

Pre-Series[]

As stated, it is unknown when and how Saladin attained his staff but he has used it for most of his life. He used it to battle the threat of the Ancestral Witches, Valtor and presumably, Lord Darkar.

Series[]

Season 1[]

The staff debuts in "Secrets Within Secrets", Saladin is holding it as he talks to Codatorta about the Exhibition and watching their students train for said day. The staff is seen again when Saladin is watching the Exhibition and uses it to hit the ground, expressing his frustration when one of Faragonda's students ruined the event.

The staff is then used during the war against the Trix. For instance, out of pure rage for their crazy ways, Saladin blasts the Trix's hologram when they threatened Knut because he betrayed them. And also when, the Army of Darkness returned to Red Fountain, Saladin uses the staff to cast an incantation onto the rain clouds from which the Army of Darkness was descending from to stop raining.
