The Heart of Alfea is the source of Alfea's magic and located inside the Alfea MiniWorld.
Overview[]
The Heart of Alfea is a core of energy that appears in the seventh season of Winx Club. It is located in the basement of Alfea, specifically in the Hall of Memories and is magically hidden from view. The Heart is the magic source of the school and without it, Alfea loses its energy. The Heart itself is housed within a large water lily in the Alfea MiniWorld.
Appearance[]
The Heart of Alfea is a large heart-shaped structure consisting of several concentric rotating hearts.
In its normal state, the Heart glows white.
When its light was smothered by Darcy however, the Heart was dark purple.

Season 7[]
In "The Secret of Alfea", the Trix flew over to Alfea to try and take over the school once again, believing they would succeed this time with the Ultimate Power of the Fairy Animals in their possession (at the time, resided in Brafilius who had been turned into a dog by Icy). They do battle with the Winx and their fairy animals before teleporting into the Alfea MiniWorld in attempt to destroy the Heart of Alfea. the school's source of magic. Faragonda informs the Winx of this predicament and reveals the Heart, which was magically hidden in the Hall of Memories. The Winx took note of the Heart's dimming light when Stella and Shiny begin to glow. Faragonda explains that it is because their magic is in harmony with the Heart.
The Winx transform into their Tynix and enter the Alfea MiniWorld. There, with the help of a flybee named Lucilly, they locate the Heart and is once again greeted by the Trix. Another battle ensues and Darcy smothers the Heart with darkness, dimming its light, extinguishing the life force in the miniworld, and weakening Stella to the point that she fainted on Shiny. Shiny however, does not give up and rejuvenates Stella with her own powers, who regains consciousness and together they converge their power and dispels Darcy's spell on the Heart. However, this does not allow the Heart to completely recover and its light continues to fade. The only one who restore it is the Golden Butterfly, who has long left the Alfea MiniWorld.
