Season 4[]

Leopold makes his debut close to halfway into Issue 84 just outside the front gates of the Winx Clubhouse. There, he approaches Musa and introduces himself to her. He then tells her that he is looking for Lukas, aware that she is a close friend of his, but before Musa can finish talking, Leopold goes on to explain that he already looked inside the Clubhouse only to find young men playing "horrible instruments at a deafening level." When Musa catches Leopold referring to Lukas by "master," Leopold becomes defensive, insisting that Musa misheard him, and goes on to demand that she tell him of Lukas' whereabouts as he needs to warn him of something. Still unsure as to what he is talking about, Musa tries to get him to explain more, only for Leopold to hastily give up as he claims that she is like all the other "young hoodlums." As he storms off, Leopold swears that he will finish his task of finding Lukas as a loyal employee of the Zinieff & Zinieff company.

Leopold later appears at Alfea in Faragonda's office having already explained his situation to the headmistress before Musa was called in. He apologizes for not giving an explanation to Musa during their prior run-in but could not do so at the time thanks to Zinieff & Zinieff's famous non disclosure policies. However, seeing as how he has been unsuccessful at locating Lukas, Leopold explains to Musa why he needs to find him.

After telling Musa of why he needs to find and bring Lukas back to his father's steel company, Musa decides to tell Faragonda and Leopold of where Lukas had been hiding out.

While Leopold does not appear for the rest of the issue, it is revealed that his true intentions for seeking Lukas were to hide him away, as he made an agreement with Sigmund Viker, Lukas' father and owner of Viker Steel, that if Lukas could not be found in time then Leopold would take ownership of the company. To ensure this, Leopold had hired a few men to kidnap Lukas and hide him away until the deadline, but his plan was foiled by the Winx, which led to Lukas taking co-ownership of his father's company.
