• The name "Nazgaroth" is based on:
  • Either the name of an orc character and an elf character, both named Nazgaroth, from the Warhammer 40,000 game.
  • Or from two words appearing in the The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings books by J. R. R. Tolkien:
    • "Nazg", which means "Ring" in the Black Speech of Mordor,
    • The ending "-garoth" from the name of the town of Esgaroth
    • This is also the origin of the name of the characters from Warhammer 40,000.
• This is the first named spell used by Jenny Carter in the comics.
