Pepe is a small duckling considered to be Icy's duck, although Icy neither liked nor wanted it.

Appearance

Pepe is a small purple duck with dark blue eyes.

Personality

Pepe is silly and very oblivious of the fact that Icy despises it and she shows it mostly by encasing Pepe in ice. Even, Stormy had blast it with her lightning bolts because it was "annoying". Despite this, Pepe is very loyal to Icy and it even followed her to Lightrock Monastery but even so, this loyalty can be shaken as seen when Pepe followed Knut to Alfea, seeking refuge from the Trix's ruthless power. However, Pepe can also be easily befriended as shown when it befriended Kiko during the invasion, unfortunately, it was short-lived. 

Series

Season 1

Pepe appeared from one of the eggs that the Specialists were going to give to the Fairies of Alfea, but the Trix caused a spell on them and when the Winx changed them back, they cast a spell on an egg that Icy had, so when Icy opened it she found Pepe. Pepe followed Icy everywhere calling her mama causing Icy to freeze him. He also caused a little of problems, because his feather's fell often and left clues for the Winx to follow the Trix, like when they freed the hunter elf. Later, Pepe became Kiko's friend.

At the end of the battle of the Winx Club and The Trix, Pepe followed Icy to the Monastery of Roccaluce (the place where the Trix were imprisoned) so Kiko was sad and Bloom told him that he wants to stay with his "mommy".

Later in the Series

Pepe never appeared in any of the later series even though he followed Icy to the Monastery of Roccaluce. It is assumed that he remained in the Monastery on Roccaluce. However, it's unknown if he returns in the future seasons.

Trivia

• The name Pepe was given again to Musa's fairy pet in Season 4.
• Pepe never appeared in the Nickelodeon dub.
• Oddly, Pepe can talk, but so far, the only word he says is "Mommy".
• In other dubs Pepe is instead called Nero, which is the Italian word for the color black and the name of a Roman Emperor who was said by some to have been a tyrannical ruler.
