The reboot's first season of the entire franchise presents a changed animation style and character designs.
Production
On November 3, 2022, Iginio Straffi confirmed the upcoming CGI reboot ninth season and a live action movie on his Instagram.[1]
Iginio Straffi later revealed that the episode format has been reverted back to its original episode format 23x26 and that the premiere of the season would postponed until 2025 and it will dubbed in more than 40 languages.
The first official preview of the new season was released on the 28th of April 2024 during Napoli Comicon.[2] Later, another variant for the same preview is uploaded onto the official channel and on social medias platforms.
On September 1, 2024, the official Winx Club Instagram and YouTube account posted a video of the work in progress of the reboot.[3]
