Wow! I don't recall seeing all that stuff about Darkar's servants being The Ancestresses and Baltor. Was that stated in the RAI version or something?~*1DivineFairy*~ 14:16, October 29, 2011 (UTC)

Is the Great Dragon God?

If one looks at what the Great Dragon your see parallals. God created the Universe, The Great Dragon Created the Winx Club Universe. Satan is gods oppose and is Evil incarnated, The Shadow Pheonix is the Great Dragons opposite and Evil incarnate. God's power came into mortal form, And the Great Dragon's powers are in mortal (a.k.a. Bloom).67.142.162.25 00:54, September 8, 2012 (UTC)

The Season 2 info is irrelevant; it's talking about Season 3.

So, what exactly is Darkar in relationship to the G.D.? The article says it’s an opposing force, but we know the Water Stars oppose the Dragon Flame. I fear that anything about Darkar may be left over from the 4Kids canon, so I’m trying to find when exactly they state his nature and details about his birth.

The Great Dragon's Relationship with the Shadow Phoenix

Most of this is going to be my thoughts as I'm still kinda a new fan of Winx; I haven't actively followed the lore for years like more hardened Winx vets.

Anyway, the Shadow Phoenix is the Great Dragon's opposite. The Shadow Phoenix isn't like the Water Stars in that its mere presence is an opposite force, rather, it (or he) is the Great Dragon's opposite in more of a Good v. Evil standpoint. I guess, to better clarify, the Shadow Phoenix is the Great Dragon's evil counterpart while the Water Stars are opposite to the Dragon's flames since, as far as we know, the Water Stars only began to wreak havoc in response to the Dragon Flame, not the Great Dragon itself since it had already settled on Domino by then.

Both the Great Dragon and Shadow Phoenix were born from the original void, making them roughly the same age. As the Great Dragon went on to create the Magic Dimension, the Shadow Phoenix, as its evil opposite, took in the magic as if it were breathing. The Great Dragon essentially gives life while the Shadow Phoenix takes it since it's implied that staying too close to it for too long would result in all of one's magic being absorbed from their body. Think of their relationship as something similar to God and The Devil in Abrahamic religions. (SolanaCorona (talk) 21:14, July 4, 2018 (UTC))

I seriously think whoever added that season 6 Great Dragon must split it into another page. It's a completely different Dragon from the one we're talking about. --133 Eevee134 Vaporeon135 Jolteon136 Flareon196 Espeon197 Umbreon470 Leafeon471 Glaceon700 Sylveon 00:03, July 24, 2018 (UTC)

Issue 149 refers to it as the Great Dragon. We could do it, but it’d be a bit awkward since this version of it appears in 606 and the comics. I personally wouldn’t know how to title it.

Splitting it like Great Dragon (Season 1) and Great Dragon (Season 6) and having this as disambiguation page. We can't put things like this when they're not the same creatures. --133 Eevee134 Vaporeon135 Jolteon136 Flareon196 Espeon197 Umbreon470 Leafeon471 Glaceon700 Sylveon 00:13, July 24, 2018 (UTC)
