Spelling and Grammar[]
Spelling and Grammar is IMPORTANT!
For some, you may have seen me become super picky about spelling and grammar. There is a reason for that: it makes us look more professional and intelligent (DONT GET ME WRONG, I THINK ALL OF YOU ARE INTELLIGENT AND SMART!!!! I REPEAT, ALL OF YOU ARE INTELLIGENT AND SMART!).
We are all doing a great job keeping spelling and grammar in check in the articles. However in blogs and talk pages, not so much.
When writing blogs, since they are viewed by everyone here, please correct any spelling and grammar mistakes and if possible, spell out all the words. That means...
- Do not use "u", spell out "you"
- Do not use "2", spell out "to", "two", or "too"
- Do not use "r", spell out "are"
...and so forth.
Grammar.... SO IMPORTANT!
- "Then" and "Than"... very common mistake.
- "Then" is used time-wise. For example: I ate then slept.
- "Than" is used for comparisons. For example: I would rather eat than sleep.
Please check over all of your edits and messages. Especially if you leave me a message. I get so annoyed and confused when users do not use correct spelling or simply do not make sense.
