Netflix[]
Something has caused the weather in Ethiopia to go haywire. To get to the bottom of it all, the Winx enter the Sundial MiniWorld.
Plot[]
A fairy animal show, featuring the Winx's fairy animals, is held at the Animal Rescue Park in Gardenia for the guests before the fairy animals return to Alfea for their safety. Kalshara and Brafilius sneak into the show without raising suspicion because of their disguises (a lady (Brafilius) walking her hound (Kalshara)). They learn of the Winx's next moves and Kalshara figures out a way to enter Alfea.
After the show, as the Winx prepare to leave with their fairy animals, one of Roxy's yaffles alert them to the ongoing trouble in Ethiopia. Strange weather patterns threaten the safety of the cranes, which are an endangered species. The pixies also join the Winx on their mission this time as Cherie, the Pixie of Weather, could help resolve the weather issue.
After the Winx and pixies teleport to Ethiopia, the strange weather is immediately apparent - it is both freezing and scorching hot. The Winx spot the cranes who are suffering from the weather until Aisha puts a protective barrier around them to shelter them from the weather. While the Winx take care of the cranes, Cherie gets to work. But after multiple attempts, she is unable to restore the weather to normalcy. Concluding that the source of the issue is wild magic and Tecna deduces the source is from the glowing obelisk, and it glowing indicates something is wrong.
The Winx use their Tynix to enter the Sundial MiniWorld. Here they see four different species of fairy animals fighting each other: floaties, pompbears, flufframs, and dog-like fairy animals. Each species represents the four seasons and only one of these species should be awake - the floaties, the fairy animals representing summer. With all of them awake, there is an ongoing fight over the territory and ruling season. The Winx are being attacked from all sides until their fairy animals join them.
Tecna realizes the issue is stemming from the three additional suns, which are charged by wild magic, on the sundial. With no shadows due to all four suns on the sundial, the other seasons are not asleep. Tecna and Flitter resolve this matter by using their special Tynix spell - Techsquirrel Flash and destroys the extra three suns. Allowing the other season to sleep, while summer returns as the current reigning season. The obelisk stops shining and the weather on Ethiopia returns to normal. A floaty thanks the Winx but especially Tecna and Flitter for their efforts. The two shyly accept the floaty's gratitude.
The Winx and their fairy animals return their world and are greeted with the sight of normal summer weather, healthy cranes, and the pixies welcoming back. With the mission complete, everyone is ready to go home when a digmole appears from the ground. Which is strange and Flora's questions its appearance in this place. Bloom manifests her Tynix bracelet to translate its language and the digmole claims to have lost its bonded fairy, Faragonda.
