"The Secret of Alfea" is the twenty-three episode of the seventh season of Winx Club.
Synopsis[]
The Fairy Animals arrive to save Flora and the Winx, magically appearing in the Adamantine MiniWorld. For the Winx there is no time to waste, because the Ultimate Power Diamond has flown out of the MiniWorld, looking for a keeper.

Finally free and with the Ultimate Power in their hands, the Trix rush to overtake Alfea, but the Winx are there to stop them.
Plot[]
Brafilius is now under the Trix's command after Icy turned him into a dog.
Kalshara is surprised to see the Trix and stated that they are the most feared witches of the Magic Universe, which was a delight for them to hear. The Trix explain to Kalshara and Brafilius that by summoning the most powerful Fairy Animals, to which they were bonded to, freed them from the Legendarium World. Proud of himself, Brafilius triumphantly praises himself as he was the one who summoned those fairy animals but ultimately proven to be unable to utilize the Ultimate Power. Causing him to be laughed at by the Trix and insulted by Kalshara. Seeing as though he has a powerful source of magic within him, Icy effortlessly turns him into a dog to use him; Kalshara herself escapes the Trix.
Amarok saves Flora.
Meanwhile, in the Adamantine MiniWorld, Flora still remains trapped in the diamonds and the Royal Orchard continues to crumple. The Winx's fairy animals then arrive and Amarok, utilizing his brute strength, hurriedly moves the large diamond rocks away and frees Flora. Together, they converge their magic onto the large tree that once held the Ultimate Power of the Fairy Animals, which then regrows its branches to support the orchard's ceiling, stopping the collapse, and saving the orchard. The King and Queen of the Adamantine MiniWorld, with their guards, arrive to see what was happening. Flora answers that they used their magic to save the orchid, which is noticeable to the king and queen and they acknowledge it. Then, the smell of ripe diamonds catch the King and Queen's attention. They taste the diamonds are thrilled of the delicious taste. As gratitude for saving their orchid, the King and Queen invite the Winx and their fairy animals to join them at the palace for tonight's party. The Winx politely decline as they need to return to Alfea.
Thanks to Flora and Amarok's magic, the orchid is revitalized, growing its branches and supporting the ceiling.
At this point in time, the Trix, their fairy animals, and Brafilius (now turned into a dog) arrive at Alfea. The Trix hope to finally be able to conquer Alfea once and for all. They are briefly stopped by the school's magical barrier but the Trix converge their power and proceed to destroy it. The Winx also just came back and were in Faragonda's office, who was only just recoviering from Kalshara's attack. Bloom helps her up and she tells her students and their fairy animals that the digmole was a disguised Kalshara who stole the Ultimate Power. The Winx are shocked and to make matters worse, the Trix had finished breaking down the protective shield.
The Heart of Alfea and its light is fading.
The Winx are greeted with the reappearance of their enemies, the Trix and their fairy animals. Aisha notices the dog with them and notes a familiar glow. Tecna realizes that it is the same glow emitted by the diamond containing the Ultimate Power. The Winx transform and do battle with the Trix. The Trix also send their fairy animals to attack the Winx's fairy animals. After some battling, Icy commands Brafilius to cast the Veil of Dark Mist, allowing the Trix to teleport to the Alfea MiniWorld to destroy the Heart of Alfea - the source of the school's magic - to do damage. Faragonda informs the Winx of this and shows them the heart and its light is fading. If it continues, all of the school's magic will disappear. Stella and Shiny then being glow brightly, which indicates that the two of them are in harmony with the light of the Heart of Alfea.

The Winx then transform into their Tynix and enter the Alfea MiniWorld with their fairy animals. Inside the Alfea MiniWorld, the Winx and Fairy Animals are impressed by their surroundings. They explore it and meet a flybee named Lucilly. Bloom tells her they are looking for the Heart of Alfea's source of magic and she leads them to it. The Trix are already there and the two opposing sides begin another battle. Bloom directs her friends to follow her, to lead the Trix away from the power source. However, Darcy and her fairy animal, Kemmy (the two are also followed by Stella and Shiny) attack the power source. As it is a light source, Darcy's magic weakens its light and thus, Stella who is a Fairy of Light and becomes unconscious, laying motionless on Shiny. Lucilly warns that the darkness is spreading and should it continue, this miniworld will become dark and cold before fainting in Bloom's hands. Shiny is not willing to surrender and rejuvenates Stella with her own light magic. Stella awakens and dispels Darcy's spell with their special convergence, Shinygreed Enchantment. Their spell's blinding light stops the Trix. Lucilly herself, also recovers and hurriedly urges the Winx and their fairy animals out of the miniworld and back to theirs.

Bloom however, stops her as they still need to restore the light to Alfea. Lucilly then explains, dishearteningly, that the only one who could do that is the Golden Butterfly, a fairy animal who used live in this miniworld a long time ago. But Bloom assures her as she and her friends know what to do.
Major Events[]
- Brafilius is transformed into dog and forced to work with the Trix. Kalshara flees from the Trix, leaving her brother behind.
- Flora is saved by Amarok and together, they converge their power and save the Royal Orchard.
- The Trix and Winx reunite and engage in battle. The Trix also introduce their fairy animals to the Winx and their fairy animals.
- The Winx learn of the Heart of Alfea, the school's source of magic.
- The Trix are destroying the Heart of Alfea and Darcy nearly succeeds in wiping out its power source.
- Stella and Shiny, whose magic is in harmony with the light of the Heart of Alfea, is able to dispel Darcy's spell on the power source.
- To recover the light of the Heart of Alfea for the sake of their school's well being, the Winx learn from Lucilly that they must seek the assistance of the Golden Butterfly.

- This episode marks the first appearance of Brafilius in his dog form.
- Stormy summoning a tornado that engulfed Tecna and Stella could be nod to the first season in which she does the same thing during the final battle. Similarly, Tecna and Stella also joined hands to escape the tornado.
