"Attack on the Core" is the third episode of the eighth season of Winx Club.
Synopsis[]
The staryummies, led by Obscurum, absorb all the energy of Lumenia's core, causing the star to sink into the darkness, but the Winx, thanks to their Cosmix powers, managed to give it back its light. Dorana hosts a party in honor of the Winx. However, the evil Valtor is preparing to attack Peripla, a star-ship that drives space travel for all the stars.

- It is revealed that Flora has a greenhouse in her dorm room.
- The font color used for this episode and previous episode's title card is different from the other episodes in the English version where it is in pink rather than being white.
