Attack on the Core
Intro/Recap
Narrator: The Winx and Twinkly reach Lumenia, where Queen Dorana explains to them that all the stars in the Magic Universe are in great danger. While the Winx investigate the draining of Lumenia's river of light, Obscurum and the Staryummies take the opportunity to attack the core.
Scene: Lumenia
Obscurum: Be quick, my evil Staryummies! Drain the core! Obscurum commands you! Drain it, until not even a spark of light remains! Lumenia will be plunged into darkness! And I will be its new ruler!
Lumen #1: Help!
Obscurum: Go, Staryummies! Devour all that energy!
Bloom: Not so fast!
- He creates a black hole and jumps in there*
Obscurum: Hahaha! Bye bye!
Flora: Oh, no! Obscurum ran off again!
Musa: Did you hear what he called those weird creatures?
Stella: Uh, "staryummies"... They are totally draining Lumenia's core!
Tecna: Maybe this was his plan all along. He used the river problem to distract us.
Stella: While he was attacking the core!
Bloom: There must be something we can do to stop the Staryummies from stealing any more energy!
Aisha: Morphix Bubble!
Bloom: Cosmix Magic!
Stella: Hey! The Staryummies are leaving through these black holes!
- The staryummies attack the Winx after Stella blocks these black holes. Flora creates a breeze of petals to clean them all*
Musa: Thanks, Flora!
Bloom: If we destroy those black holes, the Staryummies won't leave with the light they're stealing!
Stella: Yes! Our Cosmix powers work on the black holes!
- They destroy the black holes*
Flora: No way! As soon as we destroy a black hole, another opens up! Oh! The core is getting weaker!
Stella: So... where are they trying to take all the light?
Bloom: I'm afraid I have a pretty good idea.
Scene: Valtor's Hideout
Valtor: The plan is working perfectly! My powers are growing. It won't be long before I, Valtor, become the most powerful sorcerer n the Magic Universe! Obscurum! Has Lumenia's core finally been snuffed out?
Obscurum: Uh, eh, almost, My Lord. Um, any second now.
Valtor: Why is it taking so long? Is there trouble?
Obscurum: No, no, Your Darkness! I... just want to make sure each and every sparkle of energy is absorbed.
Valtor: Then move aside and let me see the core! Now!
Obscurum: What? Uh, there's some, uh, interference, I... I can't hear you.
Valtor: Are you telling me my magic isn't working?
Obscurum: I can't... what you could... better call me... later!
Scene: Lumenia
m There's too many of them! And they're too fast!
Bloom: We gotta find Obscurum! He is the one behind this.
Obscurum: This time, Valtor is gonna have no choice but to keep his promise! Soon, I shall rule Lumenia! What do you think you're doing? What a bunch of lazy energy eaters! Head to the core immediately! You want to end up like him? What a waste of time!
Bloom: Looks like Obscurum vanished into thin air!
Lumen #2: Help!
Flora: I'll take care of them! Go find Obscurum! You heard them!
Twinkly: None shall pass! I won't let you steal the light from our star's core!
Obscurum: The core is going out. It'll be over any minute now!
Bloom: I wouldn't be so sure, Obscurum!
Obscurum: Darkness Storm!
Stella: You can do better than that.
Obscurum: Now, let's see if you can handle my Starchomps!
Aisha: Not those monsters again!
Obscurum: Erase them!
Stella: Didn't expect that now, did you?
Bloom: Nice going, Stella! Now it's my turn!
Musa: Leave it to me, Flora!
Obscurum: No. No! Come on, come on! Hurry up and drain the star core!
Aisha: Collaboration time, Tecna!
Tecna: Any time, Aisha! Problem solved!
- The staryummies suck out all the energy*
Obscurum: Bye bye, Winx! Enjoy your cold, dark core!
- Bloom tries to close his black hole but fails*
Bloom: No!
Stella: It's completely gone out.
Twinkly: No! No! No! No!
Lumen #3: Oh, no! The core, it has no light at all!
Twinkly: Our magic is not enough.
Flora: That can't be! There must be something we can do.
Bloom: Maybe there is a chance...
Musa: What, Bloom?
Bloom: The core is totally out of energy, but it is still intact. If we focused all our Cosmix power directly on it...
Aisha: We could rekindle the core!
Bloom: Come on, girls. Together, we can do it! Cosmix Power!
Winx: Cosmix Power!
Stella: It's working!
Bloom: Look! It's back on!
Twinkly: Starsome! You did it! You did it! Yay! My head is spinning.
Scene: Valtor's Hideout
Obscurum: A perfect victory! Lumenia's core has been snuffed out! It was my flawless plan! One worthy of Lumenia's new king! What did you have in mind for my coronation? A grand celebration? Or maybe something a little more intimate? You, me, and then, some staryummies?
Valtor: You talk too much!
Obscurum: A good king is a man of few words. Great words, but few words!
- Valtor snaps his fingers*
Valtor: The core is on. You failed!
Obscurum: But... it... it went dark! I swear! I saw it with my own eyes! No. Please! Not the Trap Dimension! No! Ow! I did bad! I get it! Now stop, please. Forgive me! Forgive me! Forgive... me!
Valtor: Winx! You'll pay for this. That is a promise!
Scene: Dorana's Palace
Dorana: Thank you, Winx, for saving our star. Without you, we would have been forced to abandon Lumenia forever!
Bloom: Unfortunately, we weren't able to stop Obscurum. And as long as he is out there... all of the stars in the Magic Universe will be in danger!
Twinkly: Our worries are over! Lumenia is safe! Let's celebrate!
Bloom: That's right, Twinkly! And that look on your face tells me you've got something planned!
Twinkly: As it happens, Bloom, I do have one idea.
- The Winx plays music*
Lumen #4: A Winx concert!
Lumen #5: What a beautiful idea, Twinkly!
Twinkly: I know!
Scene: Valtor's Hideout
Valtor: The Winx are seriously becoming a ball and chain. I got to find a way to get rid of them, once and for all!
Obscurum: This music is... irresistible!
Valtor: What are you doing, Obscurum?
Obscurum: I'm trying to... to stop, but I can't, Your Malignity!
Valtor: I've got to find a trap, something that will finally neutralize them. Will you stop?
Obscurum: I... just... can't help it!
Valtor: Maybe I could use music for my trap. Since the Winx give concerts all around the Magic Universe. Stop it now! How can I think if you keep moving all around?
Scene: Lumenia
Bloom: Oh, no! Pop quiz in Potionology! We have to get back to Alfea!
Scene: Alfea
Bloom: Come on, girls! We're super late for the quiz!
Stella: I don't think I'm gonna make it. I'm exhausted! I wanna sleep 24 hours in a row!
Aisha: Think about the grade Palladium will put on your permanent record if you don't show.
Stella: Uh, on second thought, sleep can wait!
Sky: Bloom! Where have you been? I was looking for you! We had a date almost two hours ago.
Bloom: Oh, no! The mission to Lumenia and today's Potionology test made me completely forget it!
Flora: Bloom, we have to go.
Bloom: Sorry, Sky! I'll make this up. I promise!
Griselda: Perfect timing! How did it go?
Bloom: Mission accomplished!
Musa: Lumenia is safe!
Flora: But Obscurum got away.
Stella: And we're so late!
Griselda: Uh... Who is Obscurum?
Scene: Potionology Class
Palladium: And by adding four drops of chlorophyll, you should be able to obtain a perfect distillate of catnip. If you have followed my instructions carefully, your potion should meow!
Bloom: Um... the color is not exactly perfect!
Flora: And it smells like cat litter!
Aisha: Quick, Stella! Pass the Peace Lily root. Stella?
Tecna: Okay, final step. Musa, can you hand me the enchanted chlorophyll, please?
Musa: Yeah, here.
- Musa is sleepy so she gives Tecna wrong ingredient*
Tecna: One, two, three, and...
- The potion explodes then barks instead*
Palladium: Looks like something went wrong here.
Scene: Musa and Tecna's Room
Musa: Oh... Riven?
Scene: Bloom and Flora's Room
Bloom: The starry sky is so incredible. Take a look, they're twinkling, Kiko!
Scene: Valtor's Hideout
Valtor: This is our next target, Obscurum! Soon, the Magic Universe will fall into my hands!
Scene: Ending
Narrator: At Alfea, Sky is arranging a picnic under the stars for Bloom. But his romantic surprise has to be delayed because the Winx leave on a new mission to save the starship Peripla. They will go undercover as intergalactic pop stars!
