Surprise Party on Earth
Intro/Recap
Narrator: The Winx discovered that beneath the surface of Syderia lies a crystal mountain. After lighting it up with their Cosmix power, Bloom brought a shard of the crystal to Orion so that he could build new cores for the drained stars. Meanwhile, Valtor put a terrible plan into motion.
Scene: Valtor's Hideout
Valtor: Hmm. I don't believe this! No way! Let's see that again! The Wishing Star! It hasn't been seen in the Magic Universe for almost a thousand years... I must have it! That's the only way to make my ultimate wish come true!
Obscurum: Sorry to interrupt such a glorious dream, your Foolishness. But you do know your dark powers will prevent you from getting anywhere near the Wishing Star.
Valtor: Of course, I know, Obscurum. But I can enhance my powers by seizing the Cosmix power. And I know exactly who's going to give it to me.
Scene: Orion's Spacecraft
Orion: So, what did you bring me from Syderia?
- They show him the crystal*
Orion: But that's condensed star energy! How did you get it?
- Flashback goes on*
Lumen #1: There you go!
- Flashback ends*
Orion: Do you know what I could do with this?
Twinkly: Oh, sure! Paperweight, jewelry, bookends?
Orion: No, Twinkly. I could make a prototype of a mini-core.
Tecna: And if it works, you'll make one for every core Valtor destroyed.
Stella: Oooh! Somebody's going on a romantic date! I like Sky's style.
Musa: Where is he taking you?
Flora: Looks like a nice restaurant!
Orion: The absolute magnitude of this crystal is incredible.
Tecna: And the mini core processors will increase it exponentially.
Stella: Who needs romance when there's some new hyper-techno thingamajig about to be built?
Bloom: Tecna and Orion are right. Come on, let's get back to serious issues. Saving the stars is our priority. I'm just sorry Sky and I have so little time to see each other.
Flora: You could drop in and say hi to your guy. We got this.
Bloom: Thanks, Flora, but I have to go to Gardenia. It's my mom's birthday.
Stella: I'm sorry, Bloom.
Bloom: I'm sure Sky will understand...
Flora: Even though you can't be together all the time, it doesn't mean you don't love each other.
Orion: Excellent! I can use this to rekindle Iridia! And Prometia will be safe!
Bloom: Sure it's okay if I go to Gardenia? I want to throw my mom a surprise party.
Aisha: Don't worry, Bloom. Go see your parents on Earth.
Bloom: Thanks, Aisha.
Musa: We'll go to Lumenia with Twinkly and tell Dorana about the mini-core.
Twinkly: Starsome! We're going home! Yay!
Orion: I'll start building artificial cores for the stars that have gone out.
Scene: Gardenia
Bloom: Hey! Hi, Dad!
Mike: Bloom! Thanks for coming home to throw this party. Your mom's going to be so surprised!
Bloom: I want it to be perfect.
Mike: Uh, no worries! You can just use magic. Snap your fingers and everything's done, right?
Bloom: Uh-uh. That's not how I want to plan the party. I'm going magic-free. Even if it takes twice as long.
Mike: Well, while you set up, I'll take your mom out for lunch so she doesn't suspect anything. Are you sure you don't need help?
Bloom: Oh, Dad, you never change! I'm a fairy, I bring light back to drained stars. I think I can take care of a party.
Mike: Of course, you can. I'm sure you've got this covered, honey. I'll see you later.
Bloom: Come on, Bloom, it's just a birthday party.
- She steps on a hole and all pillows are thrown. Then the wind blows all the paper umbrellas away*
Bloom: Oh, no, no!
- Then seagulls attack the dishes*
Bloom: Ahh! No, no, no! Shoo, Shoo!
- She literally fails on everything*
Bloom: And this is why I always use magic!
Scene: Valtor's Hideout
Valtor: I drained the light of one star after another to increase my powers, but the Winx always managed to save the day! No more. They'll never stand in my way again. Once the Cosmix power is mine, they won't have a chance. The Winx might be strong when they're together but I'll tear them apart! And crush them! Starting with their leader. Enjoy your party, fairy. I see you'll do anything for the ones you love. But I'll be the one getting the real gift, your Cosmix power.
Obscurum: Oh, salutations, your Malignity!
Valtor: What do you want, Obscurum?
Obscurum: Just wanted to let you know I got to Lumenia safe and sound, in case you were worried.
Valtor: I wasn't.
Obscurum: Oh, come on! Of course you were. Oh. Hold on, one thing, your Iniquity! I just wanted to thank you for sending me to Lumenia. I'm sure I'll make an excellent king. Both harsh and evil. Can't wait to have a throne covered in gold, all to myself! And be addressed as "Your Majesty". I mean, uh... "Your Highness"! Right, wait, no, I got it... "Your Unattainability"!
- Valtor summons a black hole and sends Obscurum to Lumenia's yellow light river*
Scene: Lumenia
Obscurum: A simple "you're welcome" would've sufficed!
Scene: Gardenia
Mike: Okay, Vanessa. You can open your eyes!
People: Surprise! Happy birthday!
Bloom: Happy birthday, Mom.
Vanessa: Bloom! I can't believe it. You're here! And you're so beautiful! You set this whole thing up?
Bloom: Oh, it was nothing, Mom!
- The lanterns fall off*
Bloom: Scratch that. It was super hard! If I'd used magic, it would've turned out better.
Mike: Well, I think it looks magical.
Vanessa: More than magical. I can see all the love my daughter put into this party.
Bloom: I've been missing you so much.
Vanessa: We missed you, too.
Bloom: Space doesn't have the best shopping. I had to come up with a decent present.
Vanessa: I'm sure I'll love it. Oh, Bloom. This is the best present ever.
Mike: Wow! It's got all our best family memories.
Vanessa: I remember that day. You really weren't in the mood for dinner.
Mike: Here, you're trying to catch a snowflake on your tongue to know how it tasted!
Vanessa: Remember when you wanted to get closer to the stars from your treehouse?
Bloom: And I made it to the stars. But my home will always be you two.
Mike: It must be so exciting to go on these adventures and discover other worlds.
Bloom: It is. But they're always under some kind of threat.
Vanessa: Remember, you'll always be safe here.
Mike: Okay, enough talk, girls. It's time for cake!
Scene: Valtor's Hideout
Valtor: Cake, eh? I think it's time to blow the Earth's candle out instead.
Scene: Sun
- Valtor sends a bunch of staryummies to the sun*
Lumen #1: Not so fast! Nobody steals our light!
- The staryummies fuse and become starchomps*
Lumen #1: Attack!
Lumen #2: Got that, you nasty furry monsters? Begone!
- The starchomps fuse and become stargoyle. It then chases all lumens away and starts attacking the core*
Scene: Valtor's Hideout
Valtor: Good job, my minion! Now, drain and destroy the Sun's core!
Scene: Lumenia
Tecna: It's still got a little problem. It's a prototype, but Orion is adjusting it. Queen Dorana, thanks to mini-cores like this one, we can bring back the light to all the stars that Valtor drained.
Dorana: That's wonderful. We finally found a solution. I just worry that once we rekindle the stars, the staryummies will come back and drain them again. How I wish Argen was here. He'd certainly know how to stop them for good.
Flora: Don't worry, Dorana. I'm sure your brother will come back home.
Stella: But until then, we'll have to deal with those staryummies ourselves!
Twinkly: Okay, but without hurting them!
Aisha: Twinkly, we know you want to cheer Dorana up, but we need a solution, now.
Twinkly: But this is the solution! When my friend Lumilla turned into a staryummy, this was how I got her back to her lumen self! Staryummies are just lumens that Valtor transformed. If we hug them, we can turn them back to lumens!
Musa: There aren't enough of us to hug every staryummy. And ew. They're bristly, furry and mean.
Aisha: I'm with Musa.
Flora: But it's the only way. Only when the staryummies feel loved and accepted will they turn back into lumens.
Dorana: Oh, no. There's something wrong.
- Twinkly shows the sun is under attack*
Dorana: Valtor's at it again!
Musa: Not the sun! No!
Tecna: And Bloom's on Earth!
Stella: As Bloom would say, "This is a mission for the Winx!"
Musa: Dorana, we have to go.
Tecna: Twinkly, bring the mini-core to Orion and help him build the others. They have to be ready in case of emergency.
Twinkly: Faster than light!
Dorana: Good luck, Winx.
Aisha: Let's spring into action!
Dorana: I really hope this plan works.
Scene: Gardenia
Vanessa: It was a great party, Bloom.
Bloom: I'm so glad you liked it, Mom.
- It suddenly becomes dark*
Bloom: What just happened?
Bloom: Looks like there's a problem with the sun.
Vanessa: And it's cold!
Bloom: This can't be!
Bloom: What's wrong, Bloom?
Bloom: The sun is under attack! It's probably going to go out!
Vanessa: But if the sun goes out, Earth will be lost!
Bloom: It's all right, the Winx and I won't let that happen! And Valtor will regret messing with my home!
