"Mission for the Prime Stars" is the fifteenth episode of the eighth season of Winx Club.
Synopsis[]
After recovering the Star Compass and facing the Trix traps, the Winx get out of the Starcase, ready to face a new mission: they have to find the seven Prime Stars.
Plot[]
At Queen Dorana's palace, the Winx reappear much to the delight of an excited Twinkly. The Winx announce their success to the royals, along with the reappearance of the Trix, drawing suspicion from both Argen and Tecna that Valtor is the mastermind behind their return. After reuniting the staircase with the star compass, they learn that the wishing star was attacked on its travel, breaking down into the seven Prime stars which would be revealed by the starcase.
At Valtor's palace, the Trix argue over who would break the news to their master, which ended up being Icy as the defect leader of the trio. This was pointless as Valtor was overseeing the whole incident in question, which the embarrassed Trix made excuses over. Valtor looks forward, telling the Trix to instead go after the stars to make up for their blunder, with the promise of freedom and power, however he then also reveals he could simply give just one Trix the power, sowing the seeds of rivalry between the witches.
At Alfea the girls grow suspicious of the usually punctual Wizgiz's absence, particularly for a Metamorphosis Symbiosis test. The girls begin to believe that the professor is already in the class and is masquerading as a student or an inanimate object, causing the entire class to be thrown into chaos, only for the actual professor to show up, to leave when he smells broccoli in the air conjured by Flora.
After Class, Bloom goes to Red Fountain to look for Sky after noticing his lack of communication since her return, but discovers he is not present at school. She meets Brandon and Timmy who tells her he is on a secret mission, whose details they are unfamiliar with. Bloom pretends to be fine and leaves, but breaks down as soon as they are no longer within her vicinity.
